24 April 2026 – 24 January 2027
Winter exhibition
Gold brings a glitter to festive occasions, embellishes precious items, and stands for holiness. But where there’s light, there’s also shadow. The mining of this precious metal leaves deep scars across the entire world – ecologically, socially, and politically. Golden splendour meets critical perspectives, pieces of gold from the museum’s collections encounter the voices of those affected by gold mining. The result is a poetic exploration of a very special colour.
